Outplacement Services

Why and when you need this service

This is a demand-based service provided by Bikalp to organisations who are closing down or those who are terminating many employees. Generally, it is the moral responsibility of the closing organisation to help their employees find jobs. This service equips employees with skills required to identify their carreer options and to avail these options. It also equips employees to manage their emotions during these difficult transition times.

Those who go through our outplacement services are more likely to find jobs faster. Because we are recruiters, we know what organisations look for.

We can help managers/leaders in designing interventions that would help their colleagues find jobs.

What is included?

The Bikalp Outplacement Pack Includes following services:

•  Workshop : Interactive training/workshop on job search skills. Ideally, the workshops are divided into three separate categories: for program/technical staffs, for administrative staff members and for support staff members. The content of three workshops are divided according the requirement of these three groups. One workshop is ideally stretched to three days.

•  Cataloguing : Includes Development of a resume format, ensuring employees fill up the format, editing of resume and submission of same to be posted in the catalogue. Bikalp also has in-house capacity to print and distribute these catalogues to organisations who are most likely to take the redundant staff members.

•  Counselling: One-to-one coaching counselling services to interested staff members so as to increase the probability of them being selected for an organisation.

•  Database: Inclusion of employee's CV in Bikalp database which is used for recruitment demand of clients, generally while conducting a fast-track headhunting process. Bikalp has a list of over 5000 active resume in its database.

Database of potential recruits
Perform maintains a breathing database of potential employees. We, at Perform, collect resume of individuals and maintain a ready-to-use database so as to provide clientele with ‘right candidate' at affordable rates. Our clientele save on advertisement expenses, time and recruitment inconveniences through availing this service.

As of April 2006 Bikalp has a database of over 5400 CVs. 100% of this database is managed by our HRMIS software and 60% of this database has a soft-copy backup of CVs collected.

You may forward your CV to be incorporated in our database. Bikalp does not charge the employment seekers in order to maintain the professionalism and high standards of ethical practices. However, Bikalp charges the employing organizations for referencing the database. No charges are levied for services if the organization does not recruit the recommended candidate. The charge is dependent on the amount of salary drawn by the candidate after selection.

Performance Management

Perform works with you to establish a professional Performance Management System that goes beyond performance appraisal. It looks at the broader horizon of benchmarking, measuring and developing the capacity of all your employees to deliver results, and understanding their input in organisation's success. Like many of Bikalp services, this is not a expert service where we provide you a well-written and policed document with limited practical validity. The performance management system development essentially includes interaction with all staff members, and customization of most functional form of performance planning. Charges are levied only upon implementation of the system.
