PROFESSIONAL CODE OF CONDUCT Bikalp strives for establishing trust-relationship through exemplary professional and ethical practices while dealing with all our clients. This code of conduct will help us to explain the parameters within which all Bikalp services will be delivered. These standards of practice are over and beyond the requirements of the Law. 1. Service Delivery Bikalp will maintain highest standards of integrity, competence and professionalism in servicing clients. Bikalp will place the interest of the client as primary and would consider the interest of Bikalp as secondary in all the services provided. We will maintain independence of thought and action and will act in the best interest of the organization and not any individuals thereto. We will always try to understand the real problem of our clients and assist them in solving such problems through providing alternatives. We would strive to improve the capacity of our clients in all our services delivered. We will inform our clients about any information, interest that may bias our judgments. We will be involved in only those areas where we have the capacity to deliver results. We shall not accept any contracts where our competencies are not adequate. We will tell our clients what we can and what we cannot do only after doing a free preliminary analysis of the problem/issue or other contextual factors affecting our services. Before engaging in any assignment we will make certain that all our clients receive our written proposal/document that includes outline of what we intend to do, when we intend to complete and possible outcome of the intervention. We will not be involved with any organization or individual who are illegal in nature and we may terminate our assignment as soon as such illegal nature comes to our attention. 2. Confidentiality We will maintain high level of confidentiality in all our operations, we will never divulge sensitive information about our client to any other client, individual or organization. We will not take undue advantage using sensitive information that we receive from our clients. 3. Exclusivity We will not serve two competing clients without prior knowledge of both the clients of the intent to serve. The list of clients supplied to a potential client is deemed as informing the potential client, and a statement to a client that we intend to replicate the same type of services to other prospective clients is the same as providing prior information. Each assignment will be treated in an individual basis and only customized services will be provided. We believe in innovation and competition. We will work for the best for our clients do different things as well as doing things differently from our competitors. We provide better solutions at better prices for our clients. 4. Compensation We will charge our clients reasonable fees. The fees charged will depend on the nature of service and the length of services. We may subsidize our fees for organizations requiring our services but unable to afford the services. We will not charge nor pay any amount except for those outlined in our proposal. 5. Internal Capacity Building We will continually strive to broaden our knowledge base through all available and affordable means. We would provide learning opportunity to all our staff members so that they become competent in their field.
